LEGACY SHOW: National Travel and Tourism Week - Jul 21,2009

This broadcast is a favorite legacy show that was produced under our old Travel'n On name and format before re-branding as WORLD FOOTPRINTS. This year's National Travel and Tourism Week features the first-ever U.S. Travel Rally Day on Tuesday, May 12. On that day, cities across the country will unite to make a bold statement about the power of travel. Over 40 cities throughout the U.S. have exciting Travel Rally Day activities planned. Kelly Schultz from the New Orleans CVB will join Travel'n On Radio to discuss their activities and the importance travel plays in the revitalization of New Orleans economy. Then, Randi Thompson, CEO of KidSave International, will join Tonya & Ian to talk about her organizations global mission to ensure that no orphan or foster child is forgotten and that every child grows up in a family with love and hope for a successful future.
